| Do both your stores have the same items? |
| Both of our stores display multiple grouping of Nursery and Kids furniture. Both also have strollers, car seats, and decorative items. Often the same sets are on display at both stores. In some cases, one store may display different furniture collections, or furniture in another finish color. Our store in Kansas City, MO is also home to our Clearance Outlet. The best deals anywhere on Nursery and Kids’ furniture and accessories are found at our Clearance Outlet!! |

| Is your furniture in stock, or do we need to order it? How long does ordering take? |
| We showcase a large variety of furniture styles, to suit all tastes. Although we do have some of our styles in stock, it would be impossible to stock all styles in all colors. Please feel free to ask about the stock status at any time. When we do order from our manufacturers, most furniture will ship to us in approximately 2-3 months. |

| What is a "conversion" crib? |
| The most popular type of crib available today will convert from a crib, to a toddler bed, and then to a full size bed. These cribs generally have a long decorative back, and a lower fixed front. There is no "drop side" on most cribs that convert to a full size bed. There are also cribs available that will feature a "drop side", and convert to a toddler bed only. |

| How does a crib convert to a toddler bed? Do I need to buy anything? |
| Cribs that convert to full size beds will also convert to a toddler bed first. The front panel will come off (or the drop side) to open up the bed to a 3 sided daybed style bed. Most cribs sold today include all the parts required for this step with the crib purchase, but not all. Most crib styles also have a toddler bed guard rail available. This is a small rail that prevents the child from rolling out when the bed is in the toddler bed stage. Some cribs include this rail, and some are available to purchase separately. |

| How does a crib convert to a full size bed? Do I need to buy anything? |
| Full conversion cribs use the back panel as the headboard, and the front as the footboard. The Full Bed Conversion Kit (Adult Rails Kit) is almost always sold separately, and prices vary by style. The kit includes the wood side rails, mattress supports, and any other hardware required. |

| Should I buy the conversion kit now? |
| In most cases, we do suggest you purchase the conversion kit with your crib. Styles can be discontinued, finish colors can change, and so on. In a few cases, metal side rails can be substituted for matching wood rails. |

| Is the mattress level adjustable on a crib? |
| Yes. The mattress level on all cribs should be at the highest setting for an infant. The spring that the mattress rests on has 2 additional height settings. As soon as a child can push up their chest, you must lower the crib spring to the middle setting. The mattress level should be at the lowest setting by the time they can sit up. |

| Does a mattress come with the crib? |
| No, it doesn't. Although a crib mattress is often an afterthought, it is actually the most important purchase for your nursery. The decline in SIDS deaths is largely attributed to the use of firm crib mattresses, and babies being put down to sleep on their backs. We sell Colgate crib mattresses exclusively. These are the highest rated crib mattresses, for firmness, and snugness in the crib. |

| Do cribs and furniture come assembled? |
| Cribs ship disassembled, furniture is assembled. In almost all houses, a crib needs to be in parts to fit through doorways and down halls. With the exception of a few hutches and bookcases, all our furniture ships fully assembled. RTA (Ready To Assemble) and ETA (Easy to Assemble) furniture is a lower quality product, and we don't generally work with these types of products. Remember, we can do the delivery and set-up for you!! |

| Are cribs and crib mattresses the same size? What about toddler bed mattresses? |
| The exterior dimensions of a crib will vary, based on the design style. The interior mattress dimensions are the same. Crib mattresses must meet a standardized dimension. In the case of some foam crib matresses, like those by Colgate, their finished size is a tiny bit bigger so that they fill in all the interior space. Toddler beds are the same size as cribs, and any crib mattress will work. |

| What safety standards should I be concerned about? |
At our store, none. All cribs sold in the USA must meet minimum safety standards established by the CPSC (Consumer Products Safety Commission). All the cribs we sell in our store EXCEED these requirements. Many also have been certified by the JPMA (Juvenile Products Manufacturer's Association). Since this certification is voluntary, not all companies apply for this certification.
